I own a home in Western New York, live alone, am retired from construction business, and a collector of antiquities. I enjoy going to the health club, golfing, traveling when I can, especially to New York City, or the southern California coastal towns, Mexico or Florida. I am an easy going person; enjoy gardening, reading, listening to a variety of music, and I paint as an artist, usually land and seascapes. My dog is my best friend. He is a lab/border collie mix rescue dog, and I have had him for 13 years.
When I take the time to relax I enjoy golfing and fishing in the summer. Movies, live musicals in New York on Broadway, the philharmonic art and history museums: or just a stroll in the wilderness, or along the ocean, and reading non-fiction books. I love music/ older rock and roll/classical/opera/jazz/big bands of the mid 1900's.
At this time I am doing major remodeling on my home, so I am very busy at least 12 hours a day. I am doing it alone, since my son live in New York City in Manhattan, as an actor. I plan on moving back to Southern California (Orange County) in a few years. Gardening is also very relaxing for me...but most of all it is painting with oils on a canvas. That is where I break away from this hectic world around us...and capture it as God intended it for us to enjoy.

An Ideal relationship is a loving relationship that takes work by both partners. Many of us are here because we are divorced, so we know the ups and downs in a relationship or a past marriage. But it makes us, (at least myself) stronger and more determined to make this the one the dream I have been waiting for a long time. I believe in honesty, commitment, loyalty, fidelity, respect, integrity, and just unconditional love from within the heart.
Love is a two-way street; but RESPECT is my virtue, and chivalry is not dead!
I promise to always open the car door, the door to our home for you, because I believe my new wife will come first in my life, as well as my child. I will hold the dining room chair for you, and you shall be seated first, while I will have a wonderful dinner ready for your enjoyment;(I am an excellent cook by the way) and a red rose will be set next to your plate.
I dream of walking down the busy streets of Manhattan or Los Angeles with my arm around you, or just holding your hand... with pride...
I will be proud and honored to have a wife who will love me as I will love her. It will take work, as we know it always does, but that is what makes it stronger, and two hearts become closer as time passes on. You see...I am a romantic and I hope that is acceptable with you.
I am also strong of mind and body, and I shall always protect my wife and child with my life.
Saying "I Love You" every day is important; and never to go to bed upset at one another. Our differences must be worked out that very day, and apologies should be expressed with a gentle kiss. We should always admit when we are wrong, or when we have something on our minds and are afraid to talk. Family should be placed before everything else in life, before the entire materialistic world we live in. There is no other feeling like the love of a family. Open communication is essential. It will always make a marriage not just last for "until death do us part" but it will be happy and strong, successful, fulfilled with joy and love that God created us to live by.
